Birds’ Eye View: PREVIEW – Eagles-Packers

The Philadelphia Eagles (9-1) look for a redemption at home in prime time versus the Green Bay Packers (4-7) on Sunday night. Both teams are facing a slump, but only one will get right after tomorrow night. The Eagles will get to double digit wins or the Packers will start to turn things around in time for playoffs.

Due to the weather and rain right up until kickoff, the game plan is pretty much set for both teams: protect the ball and keep it on the ground. Minus the rain, anyone at the game will expect an uncharacteristically mild November.

Eagles’ Keys to Success

  • Defense step up for the rest of the season.
  • Win the turnover battle over and over again.
  • Stop Aaron Jones.

Packers’ Keys to Success

  • Run game, run game, run game.
  • Christian Watson might provide some help.
  • Keep the Eagles offense off the field.

Eagles Injury Report

The Philadelphia Eagles currently do not have anyone on the Injury List. A.J. Brown (illness), DeVonta Smith (knee) and Josh Jobe (hamstring) are expected to play on Sunday.

Packers Injury Report

Romeo Doubs (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game.

De’Vondre Campbell (knee) is doubtful for Sunday’s game.

David Bakhtiari (knee) is questionable for Sunday’s game.

Shemar Jean-Charles (ankle) is questionable for Sunday’s game.

Betting Models:

Spread: Eagles -6.5 (-110), Colts +6.5 (-110)

O/U 46.5 (-110)

Eagles ML: -300

Colts ML: +230

Prediction: Eagles 31-21

The Eagles are back home since the loss and I think things just line up perfectly for the Eagles to take this win. There’s too much at stake at this point for the Eagles to not win on Sunday night. I predict it’s going to be a big game for the running backs and T.J. Edwards, but I too hope that “Big Play” Slay gets his interception.
