Week 5 has come and gone and now things are starting to even out in the NFL. See how each team is doing almost a third of the season through in the NFL.

First & Jenn’s Game of the Week

Dallas Cowboys @ San Francisco 49ers

Cowboys: The Cowboys lost 2 in a row now and it’s actually alarming. Making no adjustments at the half killed the team.

49ers: I’m convinced the 49ers are invincible at this point. It’ll be intriguing to see how long they manage to stay undefeated, going toe-to-toe with the Eagles 5-0 record as well.

First & Jenn’s Game to Skip

Tennessee Titans @ Indianapolis Colts

Titans: I wouldn’t say this is a harsh loss to the Titans, but those two opportunities to score a touchdown in the first half would have secured their win.

Colts: With Jonathan Taylor back, the Colts should have a little more fire. However, Zack Moss stole the show with an exceptional 23 carries for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

Chicago Bears @ Washington Commanders

Bears: The Bears?? Finally making the progress and turn around they need to get back in the NFC North race.

Commanders: The Commanders on the other hand have some evaluation to do after losing to a 0-4 team.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Buffalo Bills

Jaguars: I think the Jaguars having an extra week in London helped them over their win against Buffalo, but a win is a win regardless.

Bills: The Bills are more than likely still going to contend when it comes time for playoffs, so dropping this game isn’t a huge loss.

Houston Texans @ Atlanta Falcons

Texans: Turnovers killed the Texans as it gave the Falcons more time with the ball.

Falcons: And with what the Falcons did with the ball (Desmond Ridder 28-for-37 completions for 329 yards and one touchdown) helped them get the win.

Carolina Panthers @ Detroit Lions

Panthers: The Panthers have yet to secure a win this season. Nothing really to say except they might have to be buyers before the trade deadline.

Lions: The Lions look very stable and consistent this season and scoring two touchdowns in almost every quarter certainly helped.

New York Giants @ Miami Dolphins

Giants: So many question marks from the Giants, especially after this game. Just one season ago they were fighting for an NFC East spot.

Dolphins: The Dolphins continue to look great and Tua Tagovailoa continues to make a case for MVP consideration.

New Orleans Saints @ New England Patriots

Saints: Are the Saints getting good? Not only were they able to manage a shut out but also gain 34 points in the process.

Patriots: This is the Patriots second 30-point loss this season and things continue to just not look good for the team.

Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Ravens: It’s not a tough loss for the Ravens, but they do need to develop better air defense and limit sacks. The team is also thus far not super great at extending drives.

Steelers: Despite what happened with the Steelers last week, they managed to bounce back this week against the Ravens who were looking great heading into this matchup.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Arizona Cardinals

Bengals: Not quite sure the Bengals are fully there yet since the Cardinals seem like an easy loss, but they are one game away from turning things around.

Cardinals: I don’t know how the Cardinals attempt to come back at this point. To even be considered a contender, they’d have to win out, which is nearly impossible.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Los Angeles Rams

Eagles: One of my favorite takeaways from this game is how the Eagles situational football and playcalling has improved. With thirty seconds to go at the half, the Eagles managed to put points on the board.

Rams: Again, this is not a tough loss. The Rams went toe-to-toe and held onto the Eagles for much of the game, which is saying something about the Rams.

New York Jets @ Denver Broncos

Jets: I think this is a good momentum building win for the Jets, even if it’s against a team that will probably not thrive as the season unfolds.

Broncos: There’s a lot the Broncos need to fix and I just don’t think they get it all done this season.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Minnesota Vikings

Chiefs: What more needs to be said about the AFC Super Team except that Taylor Swift was not there?

Vikings: Remember when I thought the Vikings would be a Top 3 in the NFC? Nevermind. And I say this because if theoretically the Vikings were to play the Chiefs or another top AFC team, I know they probably wouldn’t hold onto a win.

Green Bay Packers @ Las Vegas Raiders

Packers: Jordan Love can’t dominate if the rest of the offense is asleep (or injured.)

Raiders: The Raiders sneak away with a win but definitely have to clean up their game.
