The NFL is going to navigate this week very carefully

In the January 30 release of over 3 million documents (final major batch), including 2,000 videos and 180,000 photos, NFL owners are involved.

Owners Steve Tisch (Giants), David Tepper (Panthers) and Josh Harris (Philadelphia 76ers, Commanders) in tangential contexts.

Jay-Z, who partnered with the NFL days after Epstein’s death, is also named in an unverified FBI tip alleging he was present during a 1996 incident with Harvey Weinstein. So technically, he doesn’t have direct ties to Epstein, nor do the NFL owners. Jay-Z and Roc Nation’s partnership helps with entertainment, like the Super Bowl halftime shows, and social justice initiatives.

The emails with the NFL owners in 2013 reveal Epstein scouting and connecting New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch, including discussions during Tisch’s NFL meetings.

Tisch later acknowledged a “brief association” but denied wrongdoing or visiting Epstein’s island, despite his name appearing over 440 times in the files.

“We had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women … I did not take him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island.” Tisch said.

Josh Harris, who recently bought the Commanders from another toxic owner, is in the files repeatedly with Epstein trying to schedule meetings. Tepper is also practically mentioned sparingly.

Other NFL figures like Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, and Jets owner Woody Johnson appear in Epstein’s contacts and emails, though with less direct involvement.

But the average fan, and average person, is not going to make that connection. Hell, the average person can barely tell the difference between an AI video versus not.

With NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell addressing the media during the Super Bowl opening day on Monday, Feb. 2 at 3 p.m., there’s no doubt questions will be had about the Epstein files and the ICE agents who will be patrolling at the Super Bowl.
