First & Jenn’s Morning Coffee: I Don’t Have it Together, But I Do Have Vibes

Somewhere along the way, “having it together” became the goal.

Perfect routines. Clear five-year plans. Emotional regulation at all times. A life that looks organized from the outside, even if it feels chaotic on the inside.

Here’s the truth. Most of us don’t have it together. We’re just doing our best with the information and energy we have.

And that’s okay.

There’s freedom in admitting you’re running on vibes. In letting go of the pressure to be polished and instead focusing on being present. You don’t need a master plan for every season of your life.

Some weeks are for structure. Some weeks are for survival. Some are just for getting through with humor intact.

Vibes don’t mean recklessness. They mean flexibility. Trusting yourself to adjust as you go instead of freezing because you don’t have everything figured out.

Life is not a performance review. You’re allowed to pivot. You’re allowed to feel unsure. You’re allowed to exist in the in-between.

Having it together is overrated. Feeling aligned matters more.

If you woke up today, showed up in some capacity, and didn’t give up, you’re doing fine. Even if your plans are messy. Even if your energy is inconsistent.

Sometimes all you need is a decent attitude and the willingness to keep going.

That’s not failure. That’s real life.
