With another NFL season come and gone, the biggest talking point for about 90% of the country is usually the commercials and halftime show.
Well, the A.I., crypto, GLP-1 commercial snooze fest isn’t worth talking about, so let’s get into Bad Bunny.
From the moment 00:00 hit the clock at the half to the last word of the halftime show introduction, the Super Bowl field gets transformed from a football field to a concert stage.
And for this particular show, the field was transformed from natural grass to … more natural grass.
Bad Bunny began singing from inside a wheat field on Sunday afternoon, leaving some fans wondering how as it possible to transform the stage that fast.
That’s because those fields were actual background “dancing” roles that you could apply for.
In fact, you had to be between 5’7 and 6’0 to be able to be that role in Bad Bunny’s show.
The TikTok video in the link above highlights the physical requirements of the Bad Bunny halftime show role, noted as “Field Cast.” Besides being in that height range, they also had to have a “slender athletic build,” because the trees needed to look as close to height and width-complementary to Bad Bunny as possible.
The Field Cast was paid approximately $18.70 per hour, according to Business Insider.
