Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro running back Saquon Barkley and his parents recently partnered with Ashley Furniture to donate 50 sets of mattresses and bedding to local kids at the “Hope to Dream” event.
The event was made for empowering youth and new bedding to lay their head on. Some kids sleep in the same bed
“Whether we win or lose, when you come to stuff like this, it puts things into perspective that there’s so much more stuff bigger than football,” Barkley said.
They were able to do that with the help of the Salvation Army.
The Eagles are 7-2. The Philly Specials are releasing a music video. And Saquon Barkley is spreading holiday joy early.
Fresh off of a Monday night victory against the Green Bay Packers, Barkley spent the day with and donated to local kids at Spring Garden.
Barkley is collecting accolades off the field, while dominating on the field this season. He has 579 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
