[ORLANDO, FL] September 3, 2025 – The Miss America Organization is thrilled to recognize the exceptional delegates who excelled in the 2026 Miss America Preliminary Competition. Held at the Walt Disney Theater in the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, the event celebrated poise, talent, and a commitment to community impact.
Delegates showcased their skills in extemporaneous speaking, inspired audiences with confidence and grace, and demonstrated dedication to health and wellness.
The Preliminary Panel of Judges included David Ambroz, Dr. Sarah Hillyer, Charlotte La Niear, Nicole Noonan, Esq., David McFarland, Alonzo Fulgham, and Iesha Reed. The Miss America Organization thanks them for bringing their unique professional expertise and a shared dedication to inspiring the next generation of female leaders.
Their collective expertise will help identify the woman who will carry forward the 104-year legacy of Miss America as a role model and ambassador for the organization’s mission of empowering women to lead.
Looking ahead, Miss delegates will take the stage in Miss America’s Got Talent on Thursday, September 4, at 7:00 PM. The competition will culminate with the Miss America Final on Sunday, September 7, at 7:00 PM, where the 98th woman to wear the Miss America crown will be named.
OFFICIALLY HER PRELIMINARY EVENING GOWN AWARDS
The Officially HER Preliminary Evening Gown Awards celebrate delegates for their distinctive red carpet style. The winners of this award each received a $3,000 scholarship.

REBEL PRELIMINARY FITNESS AWARDS
The Rebel Preliminary Fitness Awards recognize delegates for their dedication to championing health and fitness. The winners of this award each received a $3,000 scholarship.
