Super Bowl LIX Champion Jalen Hurts is busy this offseason. Not a few days after the Super Bowl win against the Kansas City Chiefs, Hurts was back to beast mode preparing for the next season. Fresh after adding “champion” to his resume, he can now add “author” to his accolades.
Anthony DiBona of The Philly Special Show revealed that Hurts will be releasing a children’s book called “Better Than a Touchdown.” It is illustrated by television animation artist Nneka Myers and published by Penguin Random House.
The book is set to be released following the 2025-26 season in March 2026, but fans can pre-order the book now.
The book comes after a career season for Hurts. He threw for 2,903 yards for 18 touchdowns and only five interceptions this season. He also dominated on the ground with 14 touchdowns on 630 yards. In his five-year career with the Eagles, he has over 14,000 yards, 127 total touchdowns and 39 interceptions.
“Better Than a Touchdown” is available for pre-order for $19.99 for hardcover or available as an e-book or audio book.
