Former NFL legend reveals major private health battle

Super Bowl champion and former Philadelphia Eagle Jason Kelce believes he has CTE.

According to ML Football, the All-Pro center revealed on social media that he can “virtually guarantee that [he] has CTE.”

Fans shouldn’t be too concerned, however, as Kelce drew this conclusion in May 2024.

I mean I can virtually guarantee that I have CTE, all the research would suggest I have some degree of it. I think it is entirely reasonable to assume I have some degree of that pathology.

According to The Sun, CTE can only be diagnosed after death, but it is found in an extremely high rate among the professional football players.

For instance, look at Antonio Brown, who returned to the news cycle with a warrant for attempted murder following getting jumped in Miami earlier this year.

Fans of the beloved Philadelphia athlete should not be worried, as Kelce is still doing lots of work following his retirement. He has a podcast with his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, called “New Heights.” Outside of that, Kelce can be found on ESPN for Monday Night Football coverage.
