In 106-pound wrestling, Brett Land received a bye in the first round of Regionals but was eliminated after a 1:36 fall to Washington Township’s Frank Albright. At 138 pounds, Richard Green of Middle Township secured a 12-5 decision victory over Gabe Supernavage. In 190-pound wrestling, Dennis Serra of Lower Cape May defeated Pennsville’s Connor Ayars in a dominant 16-3 major decision, bringing Pennsville’s wrestling playoffs to an end.

The Pennsville girls’ basketball team suffered a tough 75-55 loss to Wildwood in the NJSIAA Tournament Quarterfinals. Wildwood controlled most of the game, leading 18-10 after the first quarter and 15-12 at halftime. The third quarter was a competitive 24-24 tie, but Wildwood pulled away with an 18-9 fourth quarter. Wildwood’s Macie McCracken led the charge with 27 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks, and 3 steals. Taylor Bass was Pennsville’s top performer, finishing with 18 points, 6 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal.

In the Meet of Champions girls’ pole vault finals, Pennsville’s Megan Morris finished in 9th place with a height of 10-06.00.
