Gift Every Day
While the everyday fun around the island is exciting, make sure to build relationships with the cute Sanrio characters. Each character has a friendship level with the main character. As you level up those friendships, new rewards become available. You can increase friendship levels is by gifting items the characters love, and gift up to three gifts every day. This will help you level up faster and unlock rewards more efficiently.
Find All the Mailboxes and Ziplines
The island map might look overwhelming, but Cinnamoroll has a solution: mailboxes. The mailboxes around the island act as a teleportation point that allows you to travel faster. Once you’ve activated a mailbox, you can use it to travel to other parts of the island instantly. Finding as many mailboxes as possible during your exploration will make traveling a breeze.
Prioritize Tools & Equipment
The game will present you with so many quests from the beginning. While some may seem more enticing than others, you should focus on the ones that require tools or equipment – where you’ll unlock tools and equipment you need to save time and explore more efficiently while progressing in the game.
Collect Resources Daily
Since the island resources respawn once every 24 hours, it’s best to gather them from the start every day. These resources are especially valuable in the beginning of the game, as they are key for gifting and crafting. Make sure you stay on top of collecting daily resources so you have what you need for tools and gifts.
Do Not Time Travel
If you’re a fan of Animal Crossing, you might be tempted to time travel by adjusting your console’s clock. However, Hello Kitty Island Adventure doesn’t encourage this. In fact, the developers even send a letter in the game warning players about the negative effects of time traveling. It’s best to let the game flow naturally and avoid jumping ahead. Stick to the daily rhythm, and you’ll get the most enjoyable experience without any unwanted consequences.
