Ranking the MySims Kingdom islands ahead of “Cozy Bundle” release

Players across the world are officially re-immersed in the MySims Kingdom story apart of the newest “MySims Cozy Bundle” release on November 19.

From prehistoric areas to forests inhabited by elves, Sims fans will get to enjoy the story once again.

But what islands were worth the hype and what ones fell flat? Here’s my ranking of all of the islands in MySims Kingdom.

11. The Uncharted Isle

Photo / MySims Wiki

The Uncharted Isle is an island trapped in prehistoric times.

In this island, we’re introduced to Sir Vincent Skullfinder, Gonk, Sylvia and Bobaboo, a small green triceratops.

Plot

The Royal Wandolier, Buddy, and Lyndsay arrive on an island and meet Sir Vincent Skullfinder, an adventurer who asks them to collect 20 bones. While Lyndsay is excited to help, Buddy and the Wandolier are wary of Skullfinder’s unsettling demeanor. After reluctantly gathering the bones, the group searches for Skullfinder but finds him missing. Buddy and Lyndsay argue about his intentions, but their quarrel is interrupted by a hungry caveman, Gonk, who attacks Buddy. Once the fight ends, Gonk apologizes and asks for a kitchen, prompting the group to set one up for him.

Their relief is short-lived when they discover Skullfinder has captured Gonk’s pet dinosaur, Bobaboo, and his girlfriend, Sylvia, intending to display them in a museum. When Lyndsay confronts Skullfinder about his unethical behavior, he offers to let her join him, but she refuses, emphasizing the true spirit of adventuring. The group devises a plan to free the captives by distracting Skullfinder and unlocking the cage using a windmill-powered mechanism. Once freed, Bobaboo tramples Skullfinder, and Gonk scolds him before escaping with Sylvia.

Lyndsay reflects on the lesson that adventuring is about helping others, not winning or losing, though Skullfinder remains unconvinced and leaves. Lyndsay apologizes to Buddy for not trusting his instincts, and the group shares a lighthearted moment.

Visual Design & Aesthetics: 3

The island mixes prehistoric and steampunk elements, offering a unique setting. The design is functional but not as polished as other islands, though it fits the theme of adventure well.

Storyline & Characters: 3

The story focuses on adventuring, trust, and moral choices, with good character growth for Skullfinder, Lyndsay, and Gonk. However, Skullfinder lacks full closure, limiting the depth of the overall development.

Puzzle & Quest Complexity: 4

Tasks like bone gathering, building a kitchen, and freeing captives provide engaging gameplay with puzzles and “socializing” mechanics. The variety of tasks keeps it interesting but is still fairly straightforward.

Uniqueness & Theme Cohesion: 4

The mix of prehistoric and adventuring themes is unique, but the island’s overall cohesiveness falters at times. While the theme is present, it’s not always strongly executed across the storyline and activities.

Replayability: 2

Once the tasks are completed, there’s limited incentive to revisit. The tasks don’t offer much variety for multiple playthroughs, which diminishes replay value.

Overall Enjoyment & Fun Factor: 4

Engaging tasks and a distinct aesthetic are balanced by a lack of resolution for some characters. The story’s emotional impact is reduced, making the overall fun factor moderate.

Rating: 20/30

10. Capital Island

Photo / MySims Wiki

Capital Island is the capital of the kingdom and home to King Roland and his daughter, Princess Butter. It is a primarily medieval island with poorer parts around the edges.

On this island, we’re introduced to Barney Cull, Buddy, King Roland, Lyndsay, Marlon and Princess Butter.

Plot

The story begins on Capital Island, where the player works for Elmira Clamp, a pig farmer, completing tasks like herding pigs. The player’s friend, Buddy, a royal messenger, invites them to find lost invitations for the Royal Wandolier Trials. After gathering all invitations, the player joins the trials with their friends, Lyndsay and the spoiled Princess Butter, who doubts their chances. At the castle, King Roland introduces Marlon, who trains the contestants. After completing tasks and collecting Mana to power their scepters, the player wins, becoming the Royal Wandolier, while Barney takes second place, and Princess Butter is left frustrated. The king gifts the new Wandolier a magic scepter and rewards Lyndsay with a magic bag.

The Wandolier’s first task is to help Barney get to the harbor, solving puzzles and collecting resources along the way. They retrieve a stolen Gear Scroll from Princess Butter to open the harbor gate. Barney then asks the Wandolier to build him a new house before sending them on a kingdom-wide quest to aid other islands, such as Renée’s Nature Preserve or Cowboy Junction. As they progress, they earn King Points, and Buddy’s carrier pigeon, Guillermo, delivers updates and rewards from King Roland.

Visual Design & Aesthetics: 4

Capital Island has a polished, metropolitan aesthetic with a well-structured layout and architecture that stands out from other islands. Its slightly more urban design feels distinct and reflects the island’s goal of rebuilding a functional society.

Storyline & Characters: 3

Capital Island’s story serves as the starting hub and central base for the player’s journey. It introduces key characters, establishes the player’s initial tasks, and sets the stage for the Royal Wandolier Trials. The player learns game mechanics by herding animals, finding items and interacting with friends.

Puzzle & Quest Complexity: 4

I would say by virtue Capital Island would have the “hardest” tasks because they’re things you’re just learning about the game. I don’t think Capital Island has any difficult tasks because you’re taught how to complete them.

Uniqueness & Theme Cohesion: 2

Capital Island serves as the main hub and starting point, something virtually in every My Sims game and every adventure game for that matter.

Replayability: 3

It’s inevitable that you’d play this through every time you replay other islands. As the hub world, Capital Island is straightforward but lacks the intricate tasks of other islands. While nostalgic, it does not offer as much depth on replay.

Overall Enjoyment & Fun Factor: 4

Capital Island’s story of renewal and collaboration, along with its unique urban setting, makes it enjoyable for players starting out in this story-driven game.

Rating: 20/30

9. Candypalooza

Photo / MySims Wiki

A tropical island which is home to the most famous party. This island is one of two unlocked during Vic Vector’s space mission near the end of Rocket Reef.

In this island, we’re introduced to DJ Candy Supergroove, Sapphire and Zack.

Plot

The Royal Wandolier arrives on the island with Lyndsay and Buddy, where they meet Zack, who enlists their help in preparing for Candypalooza, featuring DJ Candy. The Wandolier sets up the DJ booth and amps, and also assists Sapphire in designing a house for DJ Candy. As DJ Candy arrives, a sudden crab migration disrupts the celebration, and the Wandolier helps herd the crabs to the beach. With the crabs cleared, DJ Candy begins her set, and everyone joins in dancing. After Buddy’s turn, DJ Candy invites the Wandolier to take over DJing while she dances, ending the story with the Wandolier entertaining the crowd as the DJ.

Visual Design & Aesthetics: 4

The island’s theme is vibrant and colorful. It’s very simple with a stage, tiki decor and it plays on its natural environment. This creates an appealing and underrated visual experience.

Storyline & Characters: 2

Candypalooza’s storyline revolves around hosting a lively music festival, which is fun but also lacks depth. Character interactions are light and whimsical, with little conflict. The focus is more on the event itself and less on character relationships.

Puzzle & Quest Complexity: 4

Gameplay focuses on festival preparations, including crafting decorations, fixing and powering up equipment and building DJ Candy’s house. While enjoyable, these tasks are repetitive from other storylines. Music-based activities add a unique twist but don’t significantly elevate the variety.

Uniqueness & Theme Cohesion: 4

This music festival-inspired island, with its colorful candy aesthetic and festival vibe, is visually distinctive. There’s not another island like this one in the game.

Replayability: 3

While visually appealing, the tasks are relatively straightforward, focusing mostly on decorating. The lack of story depth slightly impacts replayability.

Overall Enjoyment & Fun Factor: 4

Candypalooza’s charm lies in its vivid visuals and playful theme, making it an enjoyable experience for players seeking a light, colorful adventure. However, it may feel one-dimensional for those looking for deeper engagement or challenge. It’s a fun, low-stakes diversion rather than a standout island in the series.

Rating: 21/30

8. Trevor Island

Photo / MySims Wiki

Trevor Island is an entire island dedicated to Trevor Verily for his acting. The island consists of three large stages, a number of benches for the audience to sit and a back lot for Trevor’s trailer.

In this island, we’re introduced to Trevor, Gordon and Linda.

Plot

The Royal Wandolier, Buddy, and Lyndsay arrive on an island where Trevor is frantically preparing for his play while talking to a skull. The Wandolier agrees to help, starting with setting the stage for Part 1: the forest scene. Trevor plays the hero while the Wandolier portrays Princess Alexandra until the play’s plot takes a turn with the princess being “kidnapped” by the villain, Baron Spegula. In Part 2, the Wandolier activates a mechanical bull, powered by a windmill, for a forest chase scene. Trevor, as the hero, “catches up” to Baron Spegula, advancing the play.

The final act transforms the stage into the Baron’s Spooky Citadel. Trevor continues as the hero, while the Wandolier now plays a dragon, chasing him across the island. The performance culminates back on stage, where the Wandolier and Trevor, now dressed as the Baron, engage in a “duel” through socializing. The hero wins, saving the princess, which Trevor again portrays. In a humorous twist, Trevor accidentally dons an astronaut costume but embraces it. The play concludes with applause from Linda, Gordon, and Buddy, though Lyndsay is less impressed.

Visual Design & Aesthetics: 5

The theater-themed island has a whimsical and vibrant atmosphere, with distinct locations like the forest stage and Spooky Citadel. However, the setting could have been expanded with more theatrical elements or backstage antics to fully immerse players in the drama.

Storyline & Characters: 3.5

Trevor’s theater-themed storyline is unique, with a creative mix of humor and drama centered around helping him prepare and perform his play. While the concept is engaging, the plot is overly linear and doesn’t leave much room for surprises. Trevor is an entertaining and eccentric character, bringing energy and charm to the island. His enthusiasm for acting and his over-the-top personality make him memorable. However, supporting characters like Lyndsay and Buddy feel underutilized, serving mostly as observers rather than active participants in the storyline.

Puzzle & Quest Complexity: 3

The tasks tie well to the storyline, with activities like setting up stages, powering the mechanical bull, and chasing Trevor as a dragon. The variety in gameplay keeps it fun, but the repetitive nature of “Socializing” to progress the story can feel monotonous. The duel through Socializing, while creative, could have been more dynamic with additional interactive elements.

Uniqueness & Theme Cohesion: 5

Trevor Island stands out for its theatrical theme, which is unlike any other island. The play-within-a-play concept is clever, blending humor and drama while letting the player actively participate as both a character in the story and a stagehand behind the scenes. The tasks, such as controlling a mechanical bull and transforming the stage for various acts, are inventive and align with the storyline. However, some elements feel underdeveloped, such as the reliance on Socializing to progress. A few more unique mechanics, like actual stage challenges or audience interaction, could have elevated the experience further.

Replayability: 2

While fun on the first playthrough, the linear nature of the tasks and predictable plot make replaying the island less appealing. Once you know the sequence of events, there’s little incentive to return for a second run.

Overall Enjoyment & Fun Factor: 4

Trevor’s Theater Island offers a lighthearted and humorous adventure with a unique concept and quirky characters. However, its linear structure and repetitive tasks hold it back from being truly exceptional. It’s an enjoyable experience for those who appreciate theatrical antics, but it may lack depth for players seeking a more engaging and dynamic adventure.

Rating: 22.5/30

7. Forest of the Elves

Photo / MySims Wiki

Forest of the Elves is an enchanted forest inhabited by elves and unicorns, which has a rock n’ roll theme.

In this island, we’re introduced to Petal, Leaf, Hopper and Proto-Makoto.

Plot

The Royal Wandolier, Lyndsay, and Buddy arrive on an island inhabited by two elves, Petal and Leaf. Petal, who recognizes the Wandolier’s role, explains that the island’s animals have fled or are behaving strangely due to magical disturbances. After consulting a mystical Unicorn Statue, the Wandolier learns they must prepare a special broth to restore Hopper, a boy dressed as a frog, back to normal. However, Leaf has selfishly diverted the island’s water supply for his hot tub, so the Wandolier restores water to the plants to prepare the broth.

With Hopper back to normal, he helps cleanse his frog friends, who have also been affected. The Unicorn Statue then reveals that the Balance of Nature was disrupted when Leaf dismantled the Temple of the Woods for hot tub materials. The Wandolier and elves rebuild the temple, prompting most animals to return, though the unicorns remain absent.

The Unicorn Statue suggests a rock concert to lure the unicorns back. Leaf, the island’s rockstar, performs after the Wandolier sets up a stage and connects it to solar-powered ruins. Following Leaf’s energetic concert, the unicorns finally reappear, and Petal expresses her gratitude as the story concludes.

Visual Design & Aesthetics: 5

The lush, enchanting forest setting is filled with vivid greenery, mystical flowers and charming wooden structures that enhance the fantasy theme. Each area feels distinct and richly detailed, providing a beautiful backdrop that fully immerses players in an elven world.

Storyline & Characters: 3

The storyline revolves around a whimsical elven forest with quirky characters and magical themes. The characters add humor and charm to the interactions, but the plot doesn’t go too deep.

Puzzle & Quest Complexity: 4

From helping grow magical plants to building structures using unique materials, tasks are varied and cater well to the fantasy environment. The gameplay often requires creative use of the building tools, making quests engaging and rewarding.

Uniqueness & Theme Cohesion: 3

Though we get quite a few nature-themed storylines in the game, the uniqueness of elves in this game pays homage to other elven games while adding a chibi-style, unique twist to the game.

Replayability: 4

The fantasy elements and magical aesthetics make it enjoyable for multiple visits after initially learning the tasks that focus more on gathering and building rather than complex storylines.

Overall Enjoyment & Fun Factor: 4

The combination of creative tasks, endearing characters, and a delightful forest atmosphere make Forest of the Elves highly enjoyable, especially for players seeking a magical, nature-focused adventure.

Rating: 23/30

6. Renee’s Nature Preserve

Photo / MySims Wiki

Renee’s Nature Preserve is an animal preserve run by Renee, where people can come to engage with the animals. Its island includes the beach, the crab’s habitat, Ms. Prissykins’ castle, and the tree/bridge area where the bears stay.

In this island, we’re introduced to Renee and a slew of animals like Ms. Prissykins and Sir Perceival J. Worthington IV.

Plot

The Royal Wandolier, Lyndsay, and Buddy arrive at Renée’s Nature Preserve, where Renée enthusiastically offers a tour. When they discover there’s no gift shop, she asks the Wandolier to build and decorate one. Next, the group visits a mechanical bull, which needs powering up. The Wandolier completes a scroll to unlock gear belts, connects the bull to a windmill, and activates it.

Continuing to the Nature Walk, Renée asks the Wandolier to build two bridges to reunite a bear cub with its mother. At the crab habitat, Renée realizes the crabs are still caged and, having lost the key, asks the Wandolier to search the water for it. After unlocking the cages, Renée brings the group to the final tour stop—a cat tower for her pet, Ms. Prissykins, which the Wandolier builds. Renée rewards the group with free lifetime passes. Finally, Lyndsay spots a giant pig, but Renée curiously denies its existence with, “What pig?”

Visual Design & Aesthetics: 5

The natural beauty of the island is calming and visually appealing, with lush greenery, trees, and natural textures. The overall design cohesion is probably the best on this island.

Storyline & Characters: 4

The environmental focus is a unique gaming storyline with Renee being a passionate character. The storyline is simple but wholesome, focusing on the preservation of nature.

Puzzle & Quest Complexity: 3

The tasks are nature-based and somewhat moderate to complete, like planting trees and building animal habitats. Although pleasant, it may lak the dynamic elements of other islands.

Uniqueness & Theme Cohesion: 4

The island’s focus on being a nature preservation with different tasks for each animal sets it apart from other nature-themed storylines in this game.

Replayability: 3

It’s pleasant for those who enjoy nature and animal themes, though the tasks can feel repetitive as they’re mostly focused on the conservation and not on character stories.

Overall Enjoyment & Fun Factor: 4

Players can expect to fall in love with this storyline and its love of nature. It may not be as memorable as others, but it is a more wholesome concept.

Rating: 23/30

5. Cutopia

Photo / MySims Wiki

Cutopia is an extremely cute island ruled by Duchess Beverly. The island has a pink castle in the center with a courtyard, a Cutopian gate leading to the tower, a picnic area and a bunny pen.

In this island, we’re introduced to Duchess Beverly, Lord Daniel, Poppy, Spencer and Violet Nightshade.

Plot

The Royal Wandolier, Buddy, and Lyndsay arrive on the island, where they are mistaken for servants by Duchess Beverly and tasked with helping prepare for National Cutopia Awareness Day. The storyline follows Lord Daniel’s romantic efforts to court Violet Nightshade, despite his mother’s disapproval. The Wandolier helps Daniel with various tasks, including decorating, herding bunnies, watering flowers, and retrieving a Dark Pearl, culminating in a successful picnic.

However, Duchess Beverly intervenes, imprisoning Violet in a tower out of concern for her son. The group works together to rescue Violet, confront the Duchess, and foster reconciliation. The narrative concludes with Duchess Beverly apologizing to Violet, who graciously forgives her, and side quests from Poppy and Spencer.

Visual Design & Aesthetics: 5

Cutopia’s idyllic design captures a whimsical kingdom full of pastel colors, adorable animals, and quaint architecture. The festival preparation brings the island to life, with the bunny herding and flower-filled scenery standing out as visual highlights. However, the overly “cute” aesthetic may not appeal to every player.

Storyline & Characters: 4

The budding romance between Lord Daniel and Violet, paired with Duchess Beverly’s overprotective antics, creates a blend of light drama and comedy. Characters like the soft-hearted Daniel, eccentric Violet, and stern Beverly bring charm to the island, while side characters like Poppy and Spencer add depth. However, the plot sticks closely to predictable tropes, limiting deeper character exploration.

Puzzle & Quest Complexity: 4

Tasks include decorating the castle, herding bunnies, and completing creative challenges like watering gardens and finding hidden pearls. The unique spider-herding mission and computer game distraction add novelty. However, some activities feel repetitive, such as building stairs and bridges, which might detract from the overall gameplay experience.

Uniqueness & Theme Cohesion: 4

The fairy-tale design, especially opposite of Spookane, makes the world be set apart with adorable creatures and cute, pastel elements.

Replayability: 3

The cuteness and fairy-tale feel are charming on repeat playthroughs, but the simpler tasks may not offer much variation on replay.

Overall Enjoyment & Fun Factor: 4

The humor, quirky characters, and lighthearted tone make Cutopia enjoyable. The romantic subplot adds charm, while the festival preparations create a celebratory atmosphere. However, the straightforward tasks may not provide enough challenge or depth for players seeking more engaging mechanics.

Rating: 24/30

4. The Royal Academy

Photo / MySims Wiki

The Royal Academy is an island named for its school. It is a very studios, academic island with a school, student dorm and dance floor. It also features a pen for Filbert, the school mascot, and Chaz’s Gyro Dance Sphere.

In this island, we’re introduced to Chaz McFreely, Liberty, Rosalyn P. Marshall, Summer and Travis.

Plot

On a remote island, the Royal Wandolier, Buddy, and Lyndsay arrive to assist headmistress Rosalyn P. Marshall, who is distressed over her academy’s disrupted start-of-term. Rosalyn tasks them with reuniting four students: Chaz, Liberty, Summer, and Travis. Chaz admits to causing the classroom chaos for his film project, and the team works together to restore order.

While navigating friendships and crushes, Liberty, Summer, and Travis find themselves entangled in a love triangle, with Liberty hoping to attend the dance with Travis. As the group bonds, they prepare for the dance, decorate dorms, and even wrangle the school mascot. At the dance, depending on the Royal Wandolier’s choice, Travis either pairs with Summer or Liberty, while Rosalyn and Buddy also share a dance, leaving everyone in high spirits on the dance floor.

Visual Design & Aesthetics: 4

The island has a charming, classic academia feel with a few mystical twists. Decorating for the school dance adds an enjoyable layer of personalization.

Storyline & Characters: 5

The romantic triangle subplot with Travis, Liberty and Summer along with Chaz’s antics make this island feel like a lighthearted school drama. The Royal Wandolier gets to act as a mediator and matchmaker.

Puzzle & Quest Complexity: 3

The island requires several unique tasks at a basic level, making it more enjoyable for the storyline. These tasks include redecorating a school, gathering materials for friendship bracelets and preparing for the dance.

Uniqueness & Theme Cohesion: 4

This storyline is the only one in the game, though it’s a gameplay storyline that’s been around before. The school drama with Travis, Chaz, Liberty and Summer adds a social, character-driven dimension not seen on other islands.

Replayability: 5

With its branching storylines depending on who you choose for Travis, decorating tasks and character relationships, it’s easy to revisit and enjoy the variety in interactions.

Overall Enjoyment & Fun Factor: 4

The strong character focus and entertaining activities make it one of the most beloved islands, especially for those who enjoy slice-of-life in games.

Rating: 25/30

3. Spookane

Photo / MySims Wiki

Spookane is a spooky island home to an assortment of characters with different stories to follow. It is an eternally dark island with a horror theme.

In this island, we’re introduced to Goth Boy, Grandma Ruthie, Morcubus, Yuki and Zombie Carl.

Plot

The Royal Wandolier, Lyndsay, and Buddy arrive on the eerie, dark island of Spookane, where Buddy’s fear contrasts with the spooky setting. They meet Goth Boy, who doubts the purpose of helping others and directs them to a mysterious book in Morcubus’ castle to find the meaning of life.

Their journey introduces quirky residents like Yuki, a chaotic girl obsessed with “shinies,” and Zombie Carl, the gatekeeper who demands a swamp makeover. The team also encounters Grandma Ruthie, a cookie shop owner whose billboard blocks their path, prompting them to redecorate her shop to fit Spookane’s vibe.

At the castle, Morcubus denies them entry, but the Wandolier retrieves the book through problem-solving. However, the book is blank, leading Goth Boy to claim life has no meaning. Lyndsay counters, demonstrating how their efforts helped others, which persuades Goth Boy to embrace a new perspective and write poetry, concluding the storyline.

Visual Design & Aesthetics: 5

The spooky, gothic aesthetic of Spookane is rich and atmospheric. The dark tones, eerie ambiance, and quirky residents perfectly match the theme, creating an engaging and immersive environment.

Storyline & Characters: 5

Spookane’s storyline is compelling, balancing humor, darkness, and introspection. Characters like Goth Boy and Yuki are well-defined, adding depth and personality. The philosophical undertone about life’s meaning gives the story a surprising layer of complexity, though its resolution feels simplistic.

Puzzle & Quest Complexity: 3

The activities are fun but typical of MySims gameplay. Tasks like redecorating, collecting shinies, and fixing gear mechanisms fit well with the spooky theme, though they lack innovation. Some challenges, like reimagining the cookie shop, are charming but may feel repetitive.

Uniqueness & Theme Cohesion: 5

The Halloween-inspired spooky island, ghostly characters and dark atmosphere make it one of the most unique islands in the game.

Replayability: 4

The quirky, spooky tasks and seasonal appeal make it fun to revisit, especially with its unique storyline. The theme and eerie vibes keep it engaging for multiple playthroughs.

Overall Enjoyment & Fun Factor: 4

Spookane’s quirky humor, intriguing characters, and unique aesthetic make it a standout island. The philosophical undertone about life’s meaning adds depth, though its resolution could have been stronger. The setting and mood are particularly appealing to fans of dark and gothic themes, though the gameplay itself might not fully engage those seeking variety.

Rating: 26/30

2. Rocket Reef

Photo / MySims Wiki

Rocket Reef is an eternally dimly lit, secluded island with a scientific theme. It’s the home of laboratories and testing areas, as well as a diner ran by a robot.

In this island, we’re introduced to Dr. F, Vic Vector, T.O.B.O.R and Alexa Lexington.

Plot

Upon arriving on a strange, gloomy sci-fi island, the Royal Wandolier, Buddy, and Lyndsay find it deserted. After an explosion, they meet Dr. F, a mad scientist, his assistant Alexa Lexington, and Vic Vector, the janitor. The lab has exploded, and Alexa asks the Wandolier to locate T.O.B.O.R., their robot test pilot. The Wandolier finds T.O.B.O.R.’s head, and after gathering his remaining parts, helps him reassemble. T.O.B.O.R. then quits, prompting Vic to volunteer as the new test pilot.

The Royal Wandolier can now choose to help T.O.B.O.R., rebuild the lab, or assist Vic in training. Helping Dr. F and Alexa involves completing scrolls to rebuild the lab and rocket. Helping Vic includes connecting his flight simulator and arcade machine. If assisting T.O.B.O.R., the Wandolier helps him build a diner by creating a bridge and setting up advertising boards. The storyline culminates in a diner celebration before Vic’s launch. With encouragement from the Wandolier, Vic overcomes his fears and completes a successful mission, returning with photos of new islands.

Visual Design & Aesthetics: 5

The futuristic, space-inspired design is vibrant and imaginative, making it one of the most visually appealing islands in the game.

Storyline & Characters: 4

This island has quirky characters and fun storylines between Dr. F and T.O.B.O.R. The tech-focused storyline is a change of pace and offers a unique cast.

Puzzle & Quest Complexity: 4

Building the tech gadgets, rockets and helping to open T.O.B.O.R.’s diner are all engaging and not easy nor hard to complete. This island stands out for its high level of interactivity with objects.

Uniqueness & Theme Cohesion: 5

This futuristic, space-themed island with the diner aspect as a twist makes this island stand out for it’s sci-fi elements.

Replayability: 4

The tech-focused tasks, like building gadgets and powering rockets, in addition to helping T.O.B.O.R. with his diner, make Rocket Reef one of the more exciting islands to replay.

Overall Enjoyment & Fun Factor: 5

The blend of tech and humor makes it a refreshing, playful experience for playes who appreciate a break from traditional themes.

Rating: 27/30

1. Cowboy Junction

Photo / MySims Wiki

Cowboy Junction is a large, desert island that consists of Chef Gino’s outdoor pizza cafe and tomato farm, a blacksmith, Roxie Road’s home and cow pasture, a mountain for mining, a town jail and Rusty’s hillside hideout.

In this island, we’re introduced to Chef Gino, Ginny, Ol’ Gabby, Roxie Road and Rusty.

Plot

In MySims Kingdom, the Royal Wandolier, Buddy, and Lyndsay arrive in Cowboy Junction and meet Sheriff Ginny, who initially mistakes them for troublemakers. They join Chef Gino on his pizza tour, but quickly realize that his business is struggling due to a series of thefts and broken equipment. Together, they work to restore the flour mill, water the tomato plants, and repair the dairy farm fences, all essential to Gino’s pizza-making process.

When Gino, feeling unlucky, tries to buy a horseshoe from Ol’ Gabby for good fortune, it’s stolen by Rusty, a local troublemaker. Sheriff Ginny and the Wandolier uncover clues, leading them to Rusty’s hideout, where they discover his mischief stems from loneliness. After befriending him and redecorating his hideout, Rusty reforms and returns the horseshoe, telling Gino he doesn’t need luck to be a great chef. With everyone reconciled, they celebrate with a dance, and Gino gains confidence in his cooking without relying on luck.

Visual Design & Aesthetics: 5

The wild west theme is beautifully captured, from saloons to arid landscapes, which gives the island and identifiable and cohesive look.

Storyline & Characters: 5

The story of Sheriff Ginny and her rivalry with Carl the Crocodile leaves a memorable impression, and the western-themed characters add a lot of humor and charm to the island.

Puzzle & Quest Complexity: 4

There’s a lot of unique tasks with varying levels of difficulty. These include reconstructing pipes for tomatoes, fixing a flour mill and herding cows. The player is also involved with resolving conflicts between characters, adding depth to the game.

Uniqueness & Theme Cohesion: 5

The western theme and tasks immerse the players in cowboy culture, something younger generations might not be as familiar with in other games and pop culture.

Replayability: 4

The western theme is novel and comedic, making it one worth replaying only after you’ve completed the game.

Overall Enjoyment & Fun Factor: 5

This island stands out as one of the most memorable and it’s easy to understand why. It has vibrant aesthetics, fun storylines and not-so easy tasks to complete the island’s story.
