4 Days until “My Sims: Cozy Bundle” release, and here’s five things I’m looking forward to

MySims: Cozy Bundle is expected to drop November 19, 2024. The game is a remastered cult classic of the MySims franchise, a Nintendo-version of the Electronic Arts “The Sims.” With The Sims having released the “Life and Death” expansion pack last month, it’s going to be fun to go back in time and play the other Sims-favored game.

MySims Kingdom Storyline (Wii Storyline)

I have to start with my most obvious excitement. The MySims Kingdom Wii storyline is top notch. The way that the storyline drips in a chapter kind of way makes it fun to both focus on and experience in real time. I like that we’re going to see the different islands again that your character will have to play.

Playing the Game on the Go

When I say I grew up on this game, I mean I used to hang onto this game and pay the late fee for it at Blockbuster. I’d come home from school and pop this game on or play it on a lazy Sunday, but now we’ve practically got the opportunity to play the game whenever, which is going to appease the fandom.

Swapping Between Favorite Games

I’ve had a Sims bundle before, but it was not fun swapping between games. You basically had to make the executive decision to play what game you wanted in the bundle, and play it often until you had to essentially restart your Wii and choose the other game. I’m hoping this bundle will allow for easier switching between games, as I know I’ll be playing both practically often and at the same time.

Revamped Controls

As the Switch is a far different gaming console than the Wii, it’ll be important to have better controls and easier access for what you need to do. I’m hoping to see simple controls for this game as they’ve been a bit tricky in the past between using a Wii and Nunchuck, but considering the similarities with the Wii and Switch for controls, I think we’ll see some improvements.

Cleaner Visuals

Sticking to the chibi-style especially almost two decades ago is not easy work, however, I’m excited to see this remastered version of the two games with cleaner lines and better coloring.
