After an exciting Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season, let’s take a peek at the Houston Texans-Chicago Bears matchup, where C.J. Stroud and Caleb Williams will face off. It should be a fun one on Sunday, September 16.

Texans Notes

QB C.J. Stroud completed 24 of 32 attempts for 234 yards and two touchdowns with a 115.9 rating last week. He has 12 touchdowns and no interceptions with a 107.3 rating in his past eight starts.

RB Joe Mixon had 178 scrimmage yards and a rushing touchdown last week in his Texans debut, the most scrimmage and rushing yards in NFL in Week 1.

Bears Notes

The Bears earned a Week 1 victory after trailing by 17 points. QB Caleb Williams became the first rookie selected at No. 1 overall to win a Week 1 start since 2002 (David Carr).

RB D’Andre Swift has 779 scrimmage yards in eight primetime games, including 75+ scrimmage yards in seven of eight games. He has five rushing touchdowns in five career games versus the AFC South.
