What if I told you a very specific gaming audience is about to have the time of their lives in November?
That’s because “My Sims,” the Nintendo-based spin-off of “The Sims,” is coming to the Switch, as announced in the most recent Nintendo Direct video, in partnership with Indie World for the Partner Showcase.
The video dropped on Tuesday, August 27, announcing a string of games that are now available or available for pre-order in the next few months and early 2025.
Games such as “Goat Simulator 3” and “Pizza Tour” are available now, while more fan-favorites, “EA SPORTS FC 25,” “Spongebob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game,” and “My Sims: Cozy Bundle” will be coming in the fall.
As the video came to an end, Nintendo Direct made announcements and talked about upcoming games.
Mixing two of the beloved “My Sims” storylines, the original and “My Sims Kingdom,” Nintendo remastered the franchise into one bundle, “My Sims Cozy Bundle.”
Features of the bundle including those in the previous Nintendo versions, such as decorating your town, customizing your Sim, meet friends along the way and enjoy two fun storylines.
This is not the first time Nintendo bundled two “My Sims” storylines. “MySims Collection” which includes “My Sims” and “My Sims Racing” was released for the Wii on November 9, 2010 in North America.
A little over 14 years later, a similar bundle will be released on November 19th, 2024. Preorder is available now for $39.99.
This marks the first time a “My Sims” game is being released since September 29, 2010.
