In my opinion, here are each NFL team’s easiest opponent for the upcoming 2024 season.

AFC East

Buffalo Bills: Arizona Cardinals

All-Time Record: Bills lead series 7-5-0

Why? I don’t believe in the Cardinals.

Miami Dolphins: Cleveland Browns

All-Time Record: Dolphins lead series 12-9-0

Why? Both teams are varying degrees of middle-of-the-pack, but I trust the Dolphins more.

New England Patriots: Chicago Bears

All-Time Record: Patriots lead series 10-5-0

Why? Both teams are varying degrees of trash, but I think this will be an equally easy…and also challenging, game for both.

New York Jets: Arizona Cardinals

All-Time Record: Jets lead series 6-4-0

Why? The Jets have far more potential.

AFC North

Cincinnati Bengals: New York Giants

All-Time Record: Bengals lead series 6-5-0

Why? Burrow is back.

Baltimore Ravens: Washington Commanders

All-TIme Record: Ravens lead series 4-3-0

Why? I had to pick someone, and the Commanders feel like the obvious choice.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Atlanta Falcons

All-TIme Record: Steelers lead series 15-2-1

Why? Because the facts are literally right there.

Cleveland Browns: Las Vegas Raiders

All-Time Record: Raiders lead series 17-10-0

Why? The Browns defense is going to be all over the Raiders.

AFC South

Jacksonville Jaguars: Minnesota Vikings

All-Time Record: Vikings lead series 6-1-0

Why? The Vikings are going to be a mess this season.

Tennessee Titans: Washington Commanders

All-Time Record: Titans lead series 8-6-0

Why? The Commanders are just not there yet.

Indianapolis Colts: New England Patriots

All-Time Record: Patriots lead series 53-31-0

Why? The Colts are going to run all over the Patriots.

Houston Texans: Arizona Cardinals

All-Time Record: Series tied 3-3-0

Why? The Cardinals are not a stable team yet, but the Texans are.

AFC West

Kansas City Chiefs: Carolina Panthers

All-Time Record: Chiefs lead series 5-2-0

Why? It’s the Chiefs.

Los Angeles Chargers: Arizona Cardinals

All-Time Record: Chargers lead series 11-4-0

Why? The Chargers aren’t a trustworthy team, but they are more trusting than the Cardinals.

Las Vegas Raiders: Atlanta Falcons

All-Time Record: Falcons lead series 8-7-0

Why? I think the Raiders will have the easiest time with the Falcons.

Denver Broncos: Carolina Panthers

All-Time Record: Broncos lead series 6-2-0

Why? The Broncos have untapped potential, but the Panthers are not playoff ready.

NFC East

Philadelphia Eagles: New Orleans Saints

All-Time Record: Eagles lead series 19-16-0

Why? The Eagles are notorious (at least recently) in beating the Saints.

Washington Commanders: Arizona Cardinals

All-Time Record: Commanders lead series 77-47-2

Why? Both teams will have any easier time against each other than some of their opponents this season.

Dallas Cowboys: Carolina Panthers

All-Time Record: Cowboys lead series 11-5-0

Why? The Cowboys should continue to have a strong defense that will especially run all over the Panthers.

New York Giants: Atlanta Falcons

All-Time Record: Falcons lead series 1-4-12-0

Why? I like to think the Giants and Falcons are on the same level.

NFC North

Chicago Bears: New England Patriots

All-Time Record: Patriots lead series 10-5-0

Why? Even with the struggles the Bears have faced, I have far more faith in them than the Patriots.

Minnesota Vikings: Arizona Cardinals

All-Time Record: Vikings lead series 18-12-0

Why? Given their injuries, I think the Vikings will have the easiest time against the Cardinals.

Detroit Lions: Los Angeles Rams

All-Time Record: Rams lead series 45-42-1

Why?

Green Bay Packers: New Orleans Saints

All-Time Record: Packers lead series 18-10-0

Why?

NFC South

Carolina Panthers: Las Vegas Raiders

All-Time Record: Raiders lead series 4-3-0

Why? The Raiders are kind of an unknown team right now, and the Panthers should be able to take advantage.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Washington Commanders

All-Time Record: Commanders lead series 13-12-0

Why? The Commanders are a weak team.

New Orleans Saints: Carolina Panthers

All-Time Record: Saints lead series 31-28-0

Why? The Panthers are still in their rebuild era.

Atlanta Falcons: Los Angeles Chargers

All-Time Record: Falcons lead series 8-4-0

Why? The Chargers are an objectively weak team.

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals: Washington Commanders

All-Time Record: Commanders lead series 77-47-2

Why? These two teams will have the easiest time against each other.

Los Angeles Rams: New England Patriots

All-Time Record: Patriots lead series 9-6-0

Why? The Rams are stronger than the Patriots.

San Francisco 49ers: Green Bay Packers

All-Time Record: Packers lead series 38-34-1

Why? Minus a few good defensive teams, practically every team will be easy for the 49ers – especially the Packers.

Seattle Seahawks: New York Giants

All-Time Record: Seahawks lead series 11-10-0

Why? One team has to be easy for the Seahawks, and the Giants are that team.
