We’ve made it, folks. Another NFL season is on the horizon. Let’s take a look at some of my favorite picks for tonight’s Hall of Fame Game when the Houston Texans take on the Chicago Bears.

Moneyline: Texans (-135)
With the amount of Bears’ alumni getting inducted this weekend, the Houston Texans are going to want to rain on their parade. Considering what we know of the Bears thus far, and their very impressive offseason, I don’t think they give full energy tonight. That’s not to say that they won’t give energy, but it won’t be game day level energy.
O/U: 31 (-110)
That being said, I think it’s going to be very easy for both teams to score at least 15.5 points. The two teams are going to put in some effort to make this game interesting. Only 10 games went over the 31 total points in Hall of Fame Game history, but I think that streak continues tonight.

Maybe an outrageous pick, but I feel like the Bears will get a first half lead and maintain it into the top of the second half. I like the odds for this and you should too if you’re not confident in them taking the full game.
