The Miss America pageant will take place in early January in Walt Disney World. 51 of the nation’s brightest and most talented women will compete for the Miss America crown and spend the next year traveling to support her platform.
The Miss America pageant will be held starting January 6-14, each day a different competition for the Miss and Teen contestants to vie for the crowns.
Another big change to this year’s competition is the scoring percentages for the rounds of competition. Private interview counts for 30% of the final score, Talent of HER Story, Fitness, and Evening Gown count for 20%, and the onstage question counts for 10% of the score.
This year, the contestants can compete in the talent portion giving a speech (HER Story) or a usual talent like singing or dancing. The contestants will also compete in a fitness portion for the frist time since 2018.
Each year, entertainment betting websites gives out Miss America betting odds for the contestants, if they win at a certain age or the talent of the winner.
