And then (again) we made it to Game 7. Today, either the Philadelphia Phillies or Arizona Diamondbacks make it to the World Series. What would have been a home field clinch by the Phillies in Game 6 turned into the Diamondbacks fighting back to push a final game, winning 5-1.
JT Realmuto was the only player who came away with a score yesterday. Otherwise, the Diamondbacks capitalized off of playing at the dreaded Citizens Bank Park.
Regardless, the Phillies remain favorites to win at (-165) and the Diamondbacks are (+140) favorites. Here are the best bets for tonight’s final NLCS matchup.
Phillies ML (-165)
Call me crazy, or don’t, but the Philadelphia Phillies will get the win tonight. I think they come out with a fire underneath them and the fans are riled up enough to help deliver the most chaotic Game 7 in Phillies history (the only Game 7 in the team’s 141 year history.)
Suarez O 2.5 Ks (-185)
There is no doubt in my mind Suarez is going to get three strikeouts tonight. He is absolutely going to bring the heat against the Diamondbacks at home.
Harper O 0.5 Hits (-200)
When in doubt, rely on Harper. Game 6 was a fluke, and I think Bryce Harper comes back and really shows the team what he’s made of.
