It may all come down tonight. With the Philadelphia Phillies in the lead and back home for Game 6 of the NLCS, the Arizona Diamondbacks need this game tonight to push a Game 7.
The Phillies took a much needed win on the road against the Diamondbacks in Game 5. With Wheeler on the mound, the Phillies turned around their issues from the first two games at Arizona. Once again, Bryce Harper showed out for the team putting up three runs with two hits. Wheeler had eight strikeouts in seven innings pitched, with Jeff Hoffman, Seranthony Domínguez and Matt Strahm taking a strikeout each.
Game 6 of the ALCS will air on TBS at 5:03 PM. The Houston Astros and Texas Rangers are tied, with Game 7 happening at 8:07 PM on FS1.
BetMGM has the Phillies as favorites to win Game 6 at (-185) and the Diamondbacks as (+150) underdogs. Check out some more best bets for tonight’s action.
Total O 8 Runs (-105)
I think this game is going to be electric for both teams. I believe the Diamondbacks get some runs regardless of my next best bet, but I think the Phillies manage to clear this over for the total.
Nola O 5.5 Ks (-135)
Nola is going to be on fire at home with the Phillies in the lead. I think he’s a surefire pitcher for the team that’s going to help them win and it begins with the strikeouts, which I think he goes over.
Walker O 0.5 Hits (-160)
However, I do also think Walker gets a hit. I don’t think it’s going to be a complete blowout for the Phillies or Diamondbacks, but I do think Walker is going to manage to get a hit and keep things alive for the Diamondbacks.
