The NLCS continues today with the Philadelphia Phillies looking to take the momentum back from the home team Arizona Diamondbacks following Thursday’s Diamondbacks walk-off victory, 2-1. Philadelphia still lead the series, 2-1, but now Arizona show signs of life.
It was a back-and-forth matchup of shutouts through seven innings until Bryce Harper scored a run. The Diamondbacks answered at the bottom of the seventh then again two innings later to secure their first victory in the NLCS.
Game 4 of the NLCS starts at 8:07 PM on TBS. Game 5 of the ALCS between the Texas Rangers and Houston Astros continues today at 5:07 PM on FS1.
Regardless, BetMGM still has the Phillies as the favorites at (-130) and the Diamondbacks at (+110) underdogs. Here are some good bets for today’s Game 4.
Phillies ML (-130)
When the Phillies face a little adversity, they always somehow find a way to respond. I feel like Game 4 is where they get it right after settling in to the Diamondbacks territory.
K. Schwarber O 0.5 Hits (-185)
Schwarber has been a little better in this series against the Diamondbacks, so I think he’s capable of getting back to delivering today with a hit. He had one in Game 1 and 2, and I think he’s able to get back to that today.
C. Sanchez O 2.5 Ks (-165)
I don’t think this is an outrageous bet for any pitcher. If the Phillies get off to a slow start again, I think this prop will hit.
