First & Jenn’s Game of the Week

Television: ESPN: Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters

Radio: Westwood One: Kevin Kugler, Kurt Warner

Notes: I’m very excited to see these two matchups. I think the 49ers have a strong desire to get back into the winning column, but the Vikings have an equally strong desire to get a statement win here.

All-Time History: Minnesota leads, 22-20-1

Prediction: 49ers

First & Jenn’s Game to Skip

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Los Angeles Rams

When: Sunday, October 22, 2023 @ 4:05 PM ET

Television: FOX: Adam Amin, Daryl Johnston, Pam Oliver

Notes: I’m intrigued to see if the Steelers can compete against the Rams defense.

All-Time History: Los Angeles leads, 15-9-2

Prediction: Rams

Jacksonville Jaguars @ New Orleans Saints

When: Thursday, October 19, 2023 @ 8:15 PM ET

Television: Prime Video: Al Michaels, Kirk Herbstreit, Kaylee Hartung

Radio: Westwood One: Kevin Kugler, Mike Mayock

Notes: Something about this matchup is going to be really interesting, I think it might be seeing Trevor Lawrence vs Derek Carr.

All-Time History: New Orleans leads, 5-2

Prediction: Jaguars

Detroit Lions @ Baltimore Ravens

When: Sunday, October 22, 2023 @ 1:00 PM ET

Television: FOX: Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen, Erin Andrews, Tom Rinaldi

Notes: I’m really excited about this matchup. Really good offense in the Ravens versus a really good defense in the Lions.

All-Time History: Baltimore leads, 5-1

Prediction: Ravens

Las Vegas Raiders @ Chicago Bears

When: Sunday, October 22, 2023 @ 1:00 PM ET

Television: FOX: Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez, Laura Okmin

Notes: I’m looking for how the Bears try to bounce back while the Raiders are on a three-game win streak.

All-Time History: Series tied, 8-8

Prediction: Raiders

Cleveland Browns @ Indianapolis Colts

When: Sunday, October 22, 2023 @ 1:00 PM ET

Television: CBS: Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta, Aditi Kinkhabwala

Notes: After beating the 49ers last week, I’m interested in how the Browns go from here. I’m also looking for if the Colts finally manage to get above .500.

All-Time History: Series tied, 15-15

Prediction: Browns

Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots

When: Sunday, October 22, 2023 @ 1:00 PM ET

Television: CBS: Ian Eagle, Charles Davis, Evan Washburn

Notes: Division matchups are always difficult for either team, so this one is going to be interesting to see.

All-Time History: New England leads, 76-48-1

Prediction: Bills

Washington Commanders @ New York Giants

When: Sunday, October 22, 2023 @ 1:00 PM ET

Television: CBS: Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber, Matt Ryan, AJ Ross

Notes: At best, the Commanders and Giants are fighting for 3rd and 4th place in the NFC East. I’m not particularly interested in seeing how either team does since the Giants might need a refesh and the Commanders are unstable.

All-Time History: New York leads, 105-70-5

Prediction: Commanders

Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

When: Sunday, October 22, 2023 @ 1:00 PM ET

Television: FOX: Chris Myers, Mark Schlereth, Kristina Pink

Notes: Both teams come off of a loss last week, so they have fire right to get back on track.

All-Time History: Tampa Bay leads, 30-29

Prediction: Buccaneers

Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks

When: Sunday, October 22, 2023 @ 4:05 PM ET

Television: FOX: Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma, Shannon Spake

Notes: The Cardinals have a three-game lose streak and are badly searching for answers. The Seahawks, on the other hand, only suffered their second loss last week and are home.

All-Time History: Seattle leads, 25-22-1

Prediction: Seahawks

Green Bay Packers @ Denver Broncos

When: Sunday, October 22, 2023 @ 4:25 PM ET

Television: FOX: Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez, Laura Okmin

Notes: I’m intrigued to see if the Packers can get it right against the Broncos before going against two harder NFC defenses.

All-Time History: Green Bay leads, 7-6-1

Prediction: Packers

Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs

When: Sunday, October 22, 2023 @ 4:25 PM ET

Television: CBS: Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, Tracy Wolfson

Notes: The Chargers need to fix their red zone efficiency because the Chiefs will have a field day if not.

All-Time History: Kansas City leads, 67-57-1

Prediction: Chiefs

Miami Dolphins @ Philadelphia Eagles

When: Sunday, October 22, 2023 @ 8:20 PM ET

Television: NBC: Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth, Melissa Stark

Radio: Westwood One: Ryan Radtke, Mike Golic

Notes: Two really good teams face off, and the Dolphins have been on fire this season.

All-Time History: Miami leads, 9-6

Prediction: Eagles
