The ALCS continues today as the Texas Rangers are now in a prime spot as they are back home, up 2-0 in the series against the Houston Astros.
In Game 2, the Astros showed signs of life even after losing, 5-4. DH Yordan Alvarez scored three runs to try to split the series. Alex Bregman scored a run as well.
The Rangers balanced out their runs with Marcus Semien, Corey Seager, Robbie Grossman, Adolis Garcia and Jonah Heim scoring runs. Rangers pitcher Nathan Eovaldi had nine stikeouts that exceptionally helped secure their second victory on the road.
While the Phillies and Diamondbacks are traveling to Arizona to continue the series, Game 3 of the ALCS will begin at 8:03 PM ET on FS1.
BetMGM favors the Rangers at (-135) and the Astros as (+115) underdogs. Check out bets for today’s afternoon game.
Max Scherzer O 4.5 Ks (-105)
With Scherzer on the mount and the Rangers on fire and at home, I feel like this is almost a free lock and I’m surprised the odds are set at what they are.
Evan Carter O 0.5 Hits (-175)
Riding this bet until the wheels fall off, Carter has been phenomenal this series and I don’t see why that comes to an end tonight.
Yordan Alvarez O 0.5 Hits (-185)
Though at an away game, I think Alvarez is about to come in clutch to bring the Astros back in this series.
