With a break in the ALCS as the Texas Rangers have an early 2-0 lead against the Houston Astros in the series going back to their home field, the NLCS action continues tonight.
Monday night, the Philadelphia Phillies took a close lead-victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks, 5-3. They wrap their time in Philadelphia Tuesday night before playing the next three games in Arizona. The Diamondbacks crucially need a win tonight to stay in it with the Phillies, but playing at Citizens Bank Park presents its own unique challenges for the opposing team.
It’s almost easier to say who didn’t get a hit yesterday on the Phillies, but Bryce Harper shined once again with two hits and two runs, followed by Trea Turner, Kyle Schwarber and Nick Castellanos who all got one run to contribute to the win.
The Diamondbacks attempted a comeback win, but did not prevail, only getting Christian Walker, Evan Longoria and Geraldo Perdomo one run a piece.
BetMGM has the Phillies once again as the favorites to win Game 2 at (-165). The Diamondbacks are (+140) underdogs. Check out more great ahead of Game 2 below.
A. Nola O 5.5 (-140)
Nola is on the mound and I was trying to find the best bet that doesn’t have (-200) odds. Luckily, I found this one so you can still make some money with an easy lock. I think if the Phillies are continuing to build off of the momentum yesterday, there’s no reason why Nola can’t have a kick ass game.
J.T. Realmuto O 0.5 Hits (-185)
J.T. Realmuto has been clutch in the playoffs so far, so I think this is a fair bet to make. Even if the rest of the team doesn’t eat tonight like they did yesterday, I think Realmuto still gets a hit tonight.
B. Harper O 0.5 Hits (-185)
Since the “Atta-boy Harper” comments, Harper has been on fire. Even before the comments, Harper has been on fire. In general, Harper is just a clutch player and is another safe bet for hitting props, especially right now.
