The Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks kick off the Championship Series of the MLB postseason Monday night at 8:07 PM ET.
The Phillies own home field advantage, but the Diamondbacks should not be counted out. As we saw in the Astros-Rangers game in Houston, the Rangers easily took Game 1. The Phillies still have work cut out for them even if they’re at home.
That being said, the Phillies are favorites on BetMGM at (-165) with the Diamondbacks (+140) underdogs. Check out bets for today’s game.
N. Castellanos O 0.5 Hits (-175)
Nick Castellanos is a safe bet to make as he’s managed to help the Phillies in quiet ways. Castellanos has had consecutive games in the postseason getting hits, so I think he’s a safe pick for Monday night if you’re picking anyone to get a hit.
Phillies ML (-165)
The Phillies will be rocking at Citizens Bank Park tonight. I don’t see how they don’t win Game 1 regardless of it being a close game or shut out. Game 2 is where I get concerned, but in Monday night’s matchup, the Phillies feel like the way stronger pick.
Z. Gallen O 4.5 Strikeouts (-155)
I think the Diamondbacks will put up a great fight tonight, and that begins with Gallen on the mound. I think he has a good, not perfect, but a good enough night to try to keep the Diamondbacks in the game if they slip up.
