First & Jenn’s Game to Skip

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears

When: Sunday, October 15, 2023 @ 1:00 PM ET

Television: FOX: Brandin Gaudin, Robert Smith, Jen Hale

Notes: Are the Bears on the right path now following last week’s win? The Vikings are also looking for answers.

All-Time History: Minnesota leads, 65-56-2

Prediction: Bears

Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs

When: Thursday, October 12, 2023 @ 8:15 PM ET

Television: Prime Video: Al Michaels, Kirk Herbstreit, Kaylee Hartung

Radio: Westwood One: Ian Eagle, Devin McCourty

Notes: The Broncos are in a crucial position to try to bounce back and could have a staple win if they manage against the Chiefs, but the Chiefs have a lot of momentum coming into this game.

All-Time History: Kansas City leads, 71-54

Prediction: Chiefs

Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans

When: Sunday, October 15, 2023 @ 9:30 AM ET

Television: NFL Network: Rich Eisen, Kurt Warner, Jamie Erdahl

All-Time History: Tennessee leads, 11-10

Prediction: Ravens

Washington Commanders at Atlanta Falcons

When: Sunday, October 15, 2023 @ 1:00 PM ET

Television: CBS: Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber, Matt Ryan, AJ Ross

Notes: You can’t give me a real reason to believe in the Commanders right now and I have far more confidence in the Falcons.

All-Time History: Washington leads, 16-10-1

Prediction: Commanders

Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals

When: Sunday, October 15, 2023 @ 1:00 PM ET

Television: CBS: Ian Eagle, Charles Davis, Evan Washburn

Notes: I’m actually shocked to see the Seahawks being in the better position over the Bengals in this matchup. And the Seahawks do have something good going on right now.

All-Time History: Series tied, 10-10

Prediction: Bengals

San Francisco 49ers at Cleveland Browns

When: Sunday, October 15, 2023 @ 1:00 PM ET

Television: FOX: Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen, Erin Andrews, Tom Rinaldi

Notes: The 49ers just look otherworldly right now. I wouldn’t necessarily underestimate the Browns defense, though.

All-Time History: Cleveland leads, 12-8

Prediction: 49ers

New Orleans Saints at Houston Texans

When: Sunday, October 15, 2023 @ 1:00 PM ET

Television: FOX: Chris Myers, Mark Schlereth, Kristina Pink

Prediction: Dolphins

New England Patriots at Las Vegas Raiders

When: Sunday, October 15, 2023 @ 4:05 PM ET

Television: CBS: Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, Tracy Wolfson

Notes: I find it really hard to believe the Patriots are going to bounce back this season, and it’s especially going to be difficult against the Raiders coming off of a stellar performance.

All-Time History: New England leads, 18-15-1

Prediction: Raiders

Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams

When: Sunday, October 15, 2023 @ 4:25 PM ET

Television: FOX: Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma, Shannon Spake

Notes: It’ll be interesting to see how Gannon prepared the Cardinals against a team with a great defensive strategy.

All-Time History: Los Angeles leads, 46-40-2

Prediction: Rams

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Jets

When: Sunday, October 15, 2023 @ 4:25 PM ET

Television: FOX: Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez, Laura Okmin

Notes: The Eagles seem to start getting all the pieces together, so now that will be put to the test against some young talent on the Jets.

All-Time History: Philadelphia leads, 12-0

Prediction: Eagles

Detroit Lions at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

When: Sunday, October 15, 2023 @ 4:25 PM ET
