The CARDINALS???
Winning by 50???
Check out – that – in the Week 3 recap below!
First & Jenn’s Game of the Week:
New York Giants @ San Francisco 49ers
Final Score: 49ers 30-12
Giants: The Giants have yet to find their footing. They have the pieces, but the execution is poor. The team also hasn’t faced any easier team yet, but that should be no excuse.
49ers: Dominant fashion like we’ve seen en route to the playoffs. Next.
First & Jenn’s Game to Skip:
Dallas Cowboys @ Arizona Cardinals
Final Score: Cardinals 28-16
Cowboys: It should sound alarms that the Cowboys lost to a team that was expected to be literal garbage this season under a new head coach.
Cardinals: I think the win makes sense considering Gannon’s experience scheming against the Cowboys on the Eagles, it was just a matter of execution.
Indianapolis Colts @ Baltimore Ravens
Final Score: Colts 22-19
Colts: It’s kind of shocking that, on paper, Minshew looked like the better QB in this matchup. Less shocking is that both teams basically walk away looking the same.
Ravens: I’m expecting better from the Ravens to close out games and make better decisions in the fourth.
Tennessee Titans @ Cleveland Browns
Final Score: Browns 27-3
Browns: I think the Browns have a shot to come for the division right now. With the Bengals now just getting back into the swing of things – usually being the strength of the division – the Browns have a chance to prove themselves from last season.
Atlanta Falcons @ Detroit Lions
Final Score: Lions 20-6
Lions: I’m very impressed with what I’ve seen from the Lions this season. Perfect? No. Building off of the week before? Most definitely.
Falcons: The Falcons, on the other hand much like the Browns, have the chance right now to contend for their division – with a rookie QB.
New Orleans Saints @ Green Bay Packers
Final Score: Packers 18-17
Packers: It’s awesome to see Jordan Love have a good game, but the team needs to put themselves in a better position to succeed than to have scored no points for three quarters then all of the sudden win.
Saints: Scoring no points in the second half was 110% the downfall for the Saints. They need to be able to take momentum in the second half to be able to stay in the game. I would attribute both sides of the ball falling off in the second half because of it.
Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Final Score: Texans 37-17
Texans: Maybe the Texans are starting to figure things out?
Jaguars: Uncharacteristic loss against the Jaguars, but I wouldn’t sound any alarms just yet.
Denver Broncos @ Miami Dolphins
Final Score: Dolphins 70-20
Dolphins: The team sucked. Except they didn’t. They did everything but suck.
Broncos: Now the BRONCOS? They sucked. They need to make changes yesterday (after losing by 50) if they want to still fight for a chance down the line.
Los Angeles Chargers @ Minnesota Vikings
Final Score: Chargers 28-24
Chargers: Good quarterback, poor playcalling, bad execution.
Vikings: See Chargers.
New England Patriots @ New York Jets
Final Score: Patriots 15-10
Patriots: The Patriots walked away with a much needed win on Sunday, but no one had a stellar performance.
Jets: Not sure if the Jets will bounce back this season, but it doesn’t help to lose to a division rival.
Buffalo Bills @ Washington Commanders
Final Score: Bills 37-3
Bills: The Bills are doing just what they know how to do that keeps them in the Top 3 in the AFC.
Commanders: I’m not mad at this loss, the Bills are a good team. Do I think the Commanders had opportunities to score more? Absolutely.
Carolina Panthers @ Seattle Seahawks
Final Score: Seahawks 37-27
Panthers: The Panthers could have done a lot more if they didn’t collect so many penalties.
Seahawks: Against the right team, and luckily we see that a little more in the NFC, the Seahawks run defense is going to look scary good.
Chicago Bears @ Kansas City Chiefs
Final Score: Chiefs 41-10
Bears: There’s a lot of concern for this 0-3 start. I’m not sure how they bounce back from here in Week 4 but maybe they get a shimmer of luck over the 0-3 Broncos.
Chiefs: The Chiefs have no worries except worrying about Swifties now.
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Las Vegas Raiders
Final Score: Steelers 23-18
Steelers: Thinking the Steelers might actually have something to prove this season, but I’m not sure how it pans out in the division with the Bengals coming back (?) and the Browns being hot.
Raiders: I think the Raiders are going to be a middle of the pack team, so I don’t really have high expectations.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Final Score: Eagles 25-11
Eagles: Frustruating to see the Eagles not playing their best ball yet and still walk away with a win, but they’re showing signs of improvement from each week. Also, shut up about the QB sneak.
Buccaneers: The Bucs put up a good fight, but I think giving up the game in the fourth and losing focus is what attributed to losses on both sides of the ball.
Los Angeles Rams @ Cincinnati Bengals
Final Score: Bengals 19-16
Bengals: The Bengals recovered with a win against the Los Angeles Rams. Maybe we continue that recovery next week?
Rams: On the Rams side of the ball, it’s not a hard loss. I think the Rams can still sneak into the playoffs in the position the NFC is in.
