As the NFL season continues, only one team ends up with the victory in the end. The other 31 teams have to reassess and look to next year for the potential to win.
These five teams deserve a championship win as their fans have really been through it.
Lions
Lions fans have long awaited for the chance to have a Super Bowl appearance. The team has not won a championship in the Super Bowl era, and have only had phases of unfavorable seasons after. Now that the Lions are onto something special early this season, they deserve a little hope for a Super Bowl win.
Jets
The Jets have not touched a Super Bowl victory since 1969. Since then, the fans have been through hell for over 50 years. Now, the team has a quarterback who could take them all the way – and he gets injured. Maybe not this season, but Jets fans really deserve a share of happiness after all of this mishap.
Bills
Bills fans and the Buffalo community at-large have had everything thrown at them the past two years from community tragedies to the Damar Hamlin situation. Though the team’s window of opportunity is slowly closing, it’s not all the way closed yet. The team has the chance to get ahead while the defending AFC and Super Bowl champs are struggling. Bills fans deserve a win to bring light after the darkness.
Bengals
The Bengals have been in the Super Bowl three times and have yet to win. Their fans finally have a stable quarterback in Joe Burrow, but need to see the rest of the team come together to make it back to the Bowl. Hopefully this time, the team will win, because fans have been aching for it.
Chargers
The Chargers have been in only one Super Bowl in the newer era, to which they lost to the 49ers. It’s about time for the team to come back and win the Super Bowl for the first time. Fans are desperately waiting for their first win.
